Introduction to Water Polo Clinic
Dates: May 23, 2010
Time: 3:30-5:00 PM (Time has changed from earlier information)
Place: BU Pool at 285 Babcock Street
Cost: $45
Ages: 11-15 year olds ONLY!
Instructor: Ted Eimstad
Prerequisite: ability to swim 100 yards freestyle and tread water for 5 minutes. (Players NEED to be comfortable in deep water for extended periods of time without assistance.)
*A swim test will be administered at the start of the class. Anyone unable to pass the test will NOT be allowed in the class, due to safety concerns. (Swimmers who fail the test will be given a refund minus $20.)
Goals of the class: Introduce the basics of Water Polo, including:
Passing
Shooting
Basic overview of the rules
Strategy of the game
Ted Eimstad is the Assistant Coach of Charles River Aquatics Sea Dragons as well as the Coach of the Boston College Women’s Water Polo Team, which placed 12th at Nationals in 2009.

- To register for the Water Polo Clinic, check the box next to it and then hit 'continue'.
- Please remember that this clinic is for 11 to 15 year old swimmers ONLY, and only 11-15 year olds will be accepted.
- Fill out the rest of the registration form and continue following the on-line instructions through checkout.

Registration
If you do not want to register on-line, you can register by mail. However, please be advised that we cannot guarantee that the program will be open by the time we get your application, especially if you mail the application close to the start date. It is possible that an on-line registration will close the program between the time you mail your application and the time we receive it.
To register, download
and fill out the water polo clinic application completely, and clearly. A
working e-mail address is necessary since we confirm your
application by e-mail.
