Marilyn
Wriede
is the General Manager of Charles River Aquatics. She
oversees the entire program, both the swim lessons and

Stephanie
Morawski
is in her eleventh year as Head Coach of Harvard Women's
Swimming. A Harvard graduate, Stephanie earned All-American
honors and qualified for Olympic Trials in 1988 and 1992
in the 200 breaststroke. Stephanie will keep Charles River
Aquatics up to date on the latest teaching methods and
work closely with the Aquatics Director and Head Coach.

Chris
Sheppard was ranked nationally in the 200 meter
backstroke during high school and was a US National qualifier.
He is passionate about swimming and brings a high level
of knowledge about stroke technique to our program. Chris
was formerly the Aquatics Director at CRA, but his duties
have changed with the rapid expansion of our swim team.
Chris is now the full time coach of the Sea Dragons as
well as the technical advisor for Levels 5 and 6. |

Tom
Wallace started swimming competitively at the
age of three in CA. In 1976 he competed at the Olympic
Trials in the 1500 meter freestyle. After graduating from
Humboldt State University, Tom became an officer in the
US Air Force. When Tom retired, he was named the Aquatics
Coordinator of the Lohse Family YMCA in Tucson, AZ. In
2006 Tom moved to MA and became the Aquatics Director
at Waltham YMCA, before joining CRA as Aquatics Director.

Erin
Donnelly swam on a team for eight years. Her
love of sports led her to receive certification as an
instructor in the American Aerobic Association International-AAAI
and International Sports Medicine Association-ISMA. Erin
worked as an Assistant Coach for the Blue Fish Swim Club
and also attended Massasoi Community College in Canton.

Ted
Eimstead started swimming at the age of four
in his family's backyard pool in Oregon. As a teenager,
Ted won the Oregon State Championships in both the 100
and 200 breaststroke. Ted was named Assistant Aquatics Director in January 2008. He’s working both with lesson children
and the swim team. |

Ellen
Caruso has been swimming competitively since
the age of 5. She was a member of the Niagara University
Swim Team from 2001-2005 and specialized in the distance
events. In 2006 Ellen received a Masters Degree in Education
from Lesley College. She is currently teaching at the
Home for Little Wanderers in Boston and also working as
both an Assistant Aquatics Director and the Developmental
Team Coach for CRA. |

Alexandra Doty (Alex) has swum competitively since the age of nine and competed at Sectionals and Junior Nationals. Currently, Alex is a member of the Northeastern Swim Team and is an ‘All Conference Swimmer’ in the CAA. Just finishing her junior year at Northeastern, Alex is majoring in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. |

Eileen
Flanagan swim on a YMCA team when she was seven
years old. At the age of eight, Eileen swam for the Greenwich
Club, then moved to high school swimming in her home state
of R.I. Eileen is majoring in Speech-Language Pathology
and Audiology at Northeastern University and will receive
her Bachelor of Science degree in May 2009. |

Emily
Isaacson learned to swim at a very young age
and continued swimming into high school where she competed
on her varsity swim team. She taught swim lessons at Butte
Family YMCA in Montana for three years and in the summer
of ’05 she was the Waterfront Director at YMCA Camp Fuller
in Rhode Island. Emily is a senior at UMass majoring in
Management. |

Sarah
Larson attended Fordham University in the Bronx
and transferred to Boston University to finish her degree.
She swam competitively for ten years and stated teaching
swim lessons at the age of twelve at her local YMCA. At
Fordham she learned the Swim America Program, a comprehensive
method of teaching swim lessons. Although Sarah feels
CRA’s swim program is compatible with Swim America, she
feels CRA is geared more toward racing and swim team. |

Patrick Napier started swimming at the age of six. A breaststroke specialist, Patrick competes for the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Swim Team in Worcester, MA. Patrick just completed his sophomore year at WPI with a major in mechanical engineering. Upon graduation, Patrick hopes to work on Formula One race cars. |

Jessica O’Byrne learned to swim in Florida. She was a member of the Pembroke Pines Charter High School Swim Team and was named captain in her junior and senior years. In her last two years of high school, she also joined the water polo varsity team. A sophomore at Emerson College, Jessica recently spent a semester in the Netherlands. She is majoring in Writing, Literature, and Publishing. |

Taylor Orton swam at the South Boston Boys and Girls Club from the time she was six until she turned seventeen. She competed at Y Nationals seven times and was swim team captain at Boston Latin Academy in her senior year. She also taught swim lessons at Curley Community Center. Taylor is now enrolled in Suffolk University. |

Alexandra Sennet (Lexy) was a member of the Palm Desert Aquatics Team in Palm Desert, CA. Her specialty was butterfly. She also competed in triathlons as she grew older. Lexy is majoring in political science at Emerson College and hopes to attend law school.
