PROGRAM COSTS (effective September, 2008)

Payment Policy

Charles River Aquatics Sea Dragons is a year round swim program with two sessions, Short Course and Long Course. All participants on the Sea Dragons agree to the following conditions:

Sort Course Season: September-March

A monthly fee will be deducted from a swimmer's account regardless of any vacation time spent away. (CRA has close to 100 swimmers on the team. We will not be responsible for keeping track of individual schedules during the Short Course Season.) We will only prorate during the March break.

Blue/Purple Team

Swimmers on the Blue/Purple Team who choose not to swim Long Course Season will be allowed to finish their classes in Session 4, which extends through April 11, 2010. There will be no additional charge for this. However, these swimmers will no longer be allowed to attend any swim team practices in April. If the swimmer chooses to take classes in Session 5, he/she must register for these classes. CRA will not register anyone who is not on the swim team.

Long Course Season: April-August

A monthly fee will be deducted from a swimmer's account regardless of any vacation time spent away. (CRA has close to 100 swimmers on the team. We will not be responsible for keeping track of individual schedules during the Long Course Season.) We will only prorate during the August break.

Exceptions to the Payment Policy

1. Illness

If a swimmer is ill for a month and has a doctor's excuse to be out of the water, the swimmer will not be charged for that month.

2. Leaving the team permanently

If a swimmer chooses to leave the CRA Sea Dragons in mid-session, payment will automatically stop the following month. (No partial refund will be given as long as the swimmer has participated on the team during the month.) If the swimmer chooses to return to CRA after a prolonged absence, it will be at the discretion of the coach whether to accept the swimmer. No spots are saved for swimmers.

MEET ACCOUNT

Swim Meets are an essential part of the Swim Team experience. Entry fees for certain meets can be expensive. To make sure Swim Team members can be entered into all meets, we require that a Meet account be set up for each swimmer. This account will require an initial funding of $75.00 for Blue/Purple/Bronze team members, $100.00 for Silver team members, and $150.00 for Gold team members.

US SWIMMING REGISTRATION

US Swimming requires that each swimmer on a USS team be registered with them. The fee is $60, and will be collected by CRA. A short registration form must also be filled out.
